Personal Statement My Life - 1734 Words

In my past I was constantly striving for achievements, whether it was school, music, or good deeds in general, I wanted to be the best and stand out. This was not because those things gave me a sense of personal satisfaction, but rather it was because I wanted to finally be good enough for my dad to be proud of me or for my mom to take an actual personal interest in who I was and not what I could provide for her. By the time I had moved across the country to go to college and to, frankly, begin writing a new chapter in my life, I could name this struggle and recognize situations that would perpetuate this struggle. But by then the cycle had been set in motion. I have just recently come to a point in my life where I am more likely to not be as ashamed or self-defeating if I do not succeed or sacrifice as much as I used to. However, with that said, there are still areas in my life that would benefit from change and growth. I would like to be able to feel fulfilled in life and not have that fulfillment come from feeling like I have to constantly please others. I would also like to be able to better deal with the pressures of life before I send myself spiraling into a whirlwind of bad thoughts or seasons of depression. I most definitely believe that these goals can be brought about by personal change and counseling. Section Two: Counseling Theories Theory One: Psychoanalytical Therapy Focus. Quantitative Measurement of Paraphrasing †MyAssignmenthelp.com

Question: Discuss about the Quantitative Measurement of Paraphrasing. Answer: Introduction: The purpose of audio meter is to ensure that quantitative measurement of Air Conduction (AC) , along with Bone Conduction PT thresholds. The threshold levels within the AC are used to assess the auditory pathway, with the use of earphones. The energy that is emitted from conducted air is responsible for causing the basilar membrane travelling waves that helps to propagate the membrane of stiffer base and it is more complement within the basilar membrane. The threshold within BC can be measured using the vibrator that is placed within the skull. The bone Conduction can be used to measure energy using the help of non-occesaues skull conten that are present in membranes, brains and fluid. This can reach the cochlea through the cochlear vestibular aqueducts. The different inner components that includes the cochlear compression and distortion along with the cochlear fluid can contribute in the skull content transmission. The purpose of BC testing is to ensure that cochlea is directly stim ulated using by passing through middle and outer ear. With the help of the comparison between the thresholds of AC and BC, it is possible to separate the estimate of status related to the neural system and conducive system. Assuming that thresholds are raised just as for resonances introduced Toward AC and BC, afterward the external Furthermore center ear need aid not helping with a Loss of the sense of hearing (sensorineural loss). Eventually Tom's perusing contrast, In thresholds need aid poorer by AC over Toward BC, At that point those wellspring about no less than some of the passing will be the external alternately center ear (conductive loss). However, bone-conducted vitality doesn't quite. Sidestep those external ear Also center ear. Site-of-lesion diagnoses will be a greater amount exact for an understanding that impediment or confusion of the external ear, center ear, or inward ear parts might influence bone conduction thresholds as well. An Comprehension of bone conduction listening to will be crucial. To audiologists with fau ltlessly allocate Loss of the sense of hearing "around those could be allowed locales of less greatness more should recognize the levels about listening to misfortunes. The thresholds of AC that can be measured using the components of audio transducer and hence, it is possible to obtain the sound-fields thresholds. It is not possible to get the help of the sound-field thresholds using the components of ear-specific sensitivity. In unilateral hearing loss, the ear can determine the level of threshold. This limitation has greater effects on the control over the stimuli and is also regarded to improve upon the use of the stimulus. With the help of Sound-field threshold, can be desirable for an individual with hearing aid. The measurement of the threshold helps in the matters regarding the orientation of the listeners that has larger effects over the field threshold level by creating effects over the eardrum. The level of sound is affected by the torso and components related to the external ear. SPL differences are regarded as the major substantial for location of the speaker. The location of the speaker as well as the angles relative to the listener ha s significant effects. Hence, the sound field calibrations are taken into consideration for the following purpose. The location of the listener during the time of testing can be used indicated by markings. The frequency of the eardrum can vary from 20dB, which is among the most important part that is needed in the overall process to simulate the listening response. In this case, it is assumed that listener and the source of the sound is in the same direction. It is also possible that the furniture and other persons, who are present in the room, can also have the ability to influence the stimulus of the eardrum of the listener. These are few of the challenges that are encountered due to the accurate sound field hearing. The sound-field that is used in the matters related to most of the effective parts of the stimulus. The standing waves can occur due to the fact that direct sounds have the ability to directly interact with the reflection of the sound waves. The difference in the leve l of stimulus level can help to minimize the level of the standing waves that result in the most narrowband of the noise or tones that are Frequency modulated (FM), which has the power to tone the stimulus. FM tones can be also called as the warbled tones, which are resulted in the matters of frequency that can be arranged in the matters related to nominal frequency variation and this variation may occurs several times in one second. The earphones provides threshold that are similar to the pure tones that can have significant effect to the stimulus. It is advisable to use narrow band tunes under the earphones, which can be stimulated by the FM. This measurement is done with the help of the dBSPL of dB(A), which is more important than the matters related to the sensitive frequency background. The noise can also be maeaited with the help of dBHL in case; they are used in the matters related to the position of the speaker. It is important o recalibrate the speaker in order charges it for further testing process. The audiological management has the duty to manage and diagnosis the type and the magnitude of the hearing loss that needs to be a part of the overall treatment process in case of the hearing loss. Treatment process like the candidacy amplification can be used in the following purpose. With the help of the audiologic service, the patient can also be referred in additional services. There are several outcomes of the audiological process. The type needs to be diagnosed and the extent to which, the hearing loss occurs. The need of the medical referral that needs licensed physicians. With the help of the provisions, it is possible to deal with the result and the treatment options that are appropriate for each family. The viral infection and trauma may result in the hearing loss, which is regarded as the main cause of the infection and trauma that can have VIII nerve pathology. There is also hearing loss that is associated with the immune system disorders. This can occurs from both viral and bacterial infection. With the help of the audiologic case, it is possible to deal with the matters related to subjective test matters, which cannot be resolved with the help any forms of test equipments. The error from the patient is also a matter that is related in the following cases. It is also possible to deal with the matters related asymmetric hearing loss, which can have the results related to most of the parts. The tumor can be one of the major causes related VIII nerve. The reports of aural fullness can also be evaluated by the physicians. In case, the discrepancies cannot be resolved by identifying the cause and the symptoms. It is also important to consult physicians, who can apply the principals of audiologist to provide the correct forms of treatment. It is also possible to have the most effective ways to deal with the increased likelihood of success related to the audiologic rehabilitation. Due to the process of inflammation, there is sudden loss, which occurs within the cochlea, which is caused due to virus infection. There are also many cases, where full recovery of the hearing do not occurs. The unilateral hearing loss has several challenges. It is not possible to deal with everyday life activities due to the challenges in the hearing. Without the assistance of the hearing aids, it is not possible to sustain the life. There is also chance of facing up with social discrimination, which will help to deal with matters related to the shadow effects. Frequencies higher than 2000Hz can be attenuated with the help of reflection. An average intensity of 6dB needs to be maintained between two ears. Thus, in unilateral hearing loss, the higher frequencies tend to reach the good ears. The accurate perceptions can also be diminished in case of speech related to consonant. The brain of human is well balanced in the forms that have the ability to deal with most of the matters related sound processing. The process of unilateral hearing can be disputed with the further understanding of the sound enhancement and also understanding the nature of environment needed for sound propagation.
